Bio

 William (Bill) Anderson was inspired to be an artist by his high school art teacher, Gerald Brommer. He pursued his art education at Los Angeles Valley College and UCLA. He started his career at J.C. Backings, painting backgrounds for the motion picture industry. During this time he worked on movies such as Hello Dolly, The Sound Of Music, Tora Tora Tora etc. John Coakley, Emil Cosa, Arthur Ryder, Duncan Spencer, and George Gibson were his mentors. 

In 2016, he was awarded a lifetime achievement award by the IATSE motion picture art directors guild. 

In 1980 he became the scenic supervisor for Walt Disney Imagineering and incorporated his company called Mural Makers painting backgrounds for Disney theme parks worldwide. Through the years Bill has built his private collection and presents the latest here for sale.
